Knowledge, faith/power, justice, judgement, mercy, truth. By a little reflection it will be seen, that the idea of the existence of these attributes in the Deity, is necessary to enable any rational being to exercise faith in him.
Yeah. Sure. Let’s go with that.

As awesome as it would be to have a Book of Zelph, it’s my sad duty to confirm that the abbreviation “Zeph.” is in fact Zephaniah, as Marie suggested it might be, a tiny, seldom quoted Old Testament prophetic book sandwiched between Habakkuk and Haggai. Like most of the OT prophets, it’s mainly concerned with the Lord coming in judgment, and that right soon (2500 years and counting, but who’s counting…)
I think Zephaniah’s only interesting verse, from a cherry-picking Mormon perspective, is 3:9 which says the Lord will “turn to the people a pure language”, which must obviously refer to Adamic, because what else could it mean, right? From a cherry-picking ex-Mormon perspective, I think the most interesting verse is 3:4 “Her prophets are light and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.”
I will tease that Lecture 5 should prove much more entertaining to read than Lectures 1-4…

Did you just drop a Shawshank Redemption reference?
